Game Night November 21st

The Library will host a Games Night on Thursday, November 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Our Nintendo Wii will be available for play, along with a selection of board games and card games. No sign-up is necessary; feel free to stop in and try out a new game!

The teen movie for September is Iron Man 3, starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow. We will show this FREE film in the Library Meeting Room on Thursday, September 26th, starting at 6:15 PM. Bring your own snacks and covered beverages.

Library Job Available!


Title: LIBRARY PAGE I -- (Part-Time)

Duties: Sort, shelve books; keep materials in order

Requirements: Ability to understand and perform routine library procedures, to communicate effectively with staff and public, to follow oral and written instructions, to stand and/or be on one’s feet for extended periods of time, and to bend, stoop, carry, and stretch for shelving books.

Working Conditions: Office Setting

Hours: 12 Hours per week – evenings and Saturdays (currently scheduled for Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility as to which days).

2013 Salary: $8.50 per hour

Application: All interested candidates must obtain and complete an official application. Applications are available at the Library Circulation Desk in the lobby. The library will accept applications until 5PM Saturday, June 29, 2013

First pass packet is now available

We have received the first set of passes from the Waukesha County system office for the Teen Summer Reading program.

Once you finish your first book and fill out your entry form, you can pick up a Pizza Hut coupon and a Brewers coupon from the adult reference desk on the second floor of the library.

The first weekly drawing for prizes will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 21st.

2013 Teen Summer Reading Program: "Beneath the Surface"

The 2013 Teen Summer Reading Program is underway! You can sign up at the adult reference desk on the second floor of the library. Read one book per week and enter to win a free book or a book bag. Drawings will be held Friday afternoons starting June 21st and ending August 2nd. The last day to turn in your entry forms is Saturday, August 3rd. The grand prize this year is an iPod Shuffle.
